Steven was the Director of the Professional Development Centre in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. Steven is the past Director of the Jeffrey Skoll MBA Program offered through the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto to gifted young engineers. He has also held the position of Director of the Centre for Advanced Microelectronics and was the founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Engineering Technologies at George Brown College. Prior to entering academics, Steven was Senior Scientist for EXFO Photonics Solutions, a $1B public company involved in developing class leading optical fibre test and measurement. Steven worked with Intel, Nortel, JDS Uniphase on advanced design solutions, and has worked on many patents and new products. Steven has also held the position of Senior Research Associate in the Stephen C. Wallace research group at the University of Toronto and has published many papers in refereed scientific journals. Steven is a well-respected speaker and lecturer on topics in Optics, and was an invited speaker at many conferences.
Steven holds an H.B.Sc. in Chemical Physics and a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.

Thomas is a hands on CFO with global experience spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Thomas has financial, audit, and regulatory reporting experience in Canada, China, the United States, and the United Knigdom

Thomas brings with him a strong understanding of the mining, construction, manufacturing, technology, and e-commerce industries.

Thomas has worked in venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, with both Goldman Sachs & GE, and has worked in audit and corporate recovery with Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse

Peter Howard has a decade of experience helping governments and industrial clients understand the risks and opportunities associated with climate change. Peter is currently the Director, Commercialization and Project Management at Pond Biofuels, where he is helping to commercialize Pond’s technology for growing algae directly in smokestack exhaust. Previously, Peter was Senior Policy Advisor on climate change with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, where he helped develop Ontario’s policies and programs for transitioning to a low carbon economy. Peter also held the position of Manager, Climate Change and Sustainability in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ sustainable business practice.  Peter has extensive experience helping both public and private organizations develop a strategic response to climate change, helping clients understand the cleantech market, develop emissions inventories, create and execute energy and carbon management plans, and understanding emissions trading and carbon markets. Peter received his Masters of Environmental Studies degree from York University, where he studied environmental economics and sustainable business, and a BSc (comb. Hons) in Biology and Contemporary Studies from the University of Kings College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Peter is also in the process of completing training to become a CPA, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP).

Emidio is a results driven professional with the proven ability as a leader to systematically identify improvements, and implement solutions for achieving objectives, targets and goals in a team oriented environment. Emidio has comprehensive experience in high volume manufacturing environments, managing several areas of operations such as production, quality assurance and maintenance. Emidio’s portfolio also includes extensive Engineering experience in areas of program management; from receipt of order to steady state production by managing the design, validation process, production launch, and in-house/customer production process validation. Emidio is a licensed mechanical engineer with the P. Eng. designation.
